I was born and raised in Baltimore, Md.  My father was in the financial advisory business and often shared details of his work at the dinner table.  I admired his work ethic, and could see how important his work was to him and to his clients.

I graduated from St. Paul’s School in 1994 and graduated from Wake Forest University four years later with a degree in Business. After graduation, I was invited to join the Northwestern Mutual office in Washington, D.C.  I met my wife Julie at Wake Forest, and after several years in our nation’s capital, we decided to move back to her hometown of Atlanta.  Atlanta has been our home ever since.  Our first son, Charlie, was born here in 2006 and our son, Smith, was born three years later.

As a young financial advisor, I would listen to families talk about their concerns – about how to pay for college or how to save enough money for retirement.  My ability to better understand my clients’ goals was underscored when my wife and I had children of our own.  I will always strive to provide you with the same level of ethical service that I would expect for myself and for my family.

I do this work for one reason – because of the fulfillment that comes from working alongside individuals and families to build lasting financial security.   I see how lives are changed and futures secured.
